FFA Honorary Chapter Degree

During the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School FFA Awards Banquet, Mr. DeNeal presented the Superintendent and High School Principal, Mr. Bryce K. Jerrell, an Honorary Chapter Degree. Mr. Jerrell said, "I would like to thank Mr. DeNeal and the Carrier Mills-Stonefort FFA for this Honorary Chapter Degree. I found out that the purpose of an honorary degree is to recognize someone for their exceptional or outstanding service to agricultural education or to the FFA program. Honestly, all I did was ask seven years ago one question, 'Why doesn't Carrier Mills-Stonefort have an FFA Program?' The School Board agreed, and Mr. DeNeal agreed to come here and start our program. For the past six years I have watched our FFA grow and I look forward to seeing where it goes in the future."
