Brain Games 2023

A team of four Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School students placed 8th out of 18 teams at the annual Brain Games competition on Friday, December 1 in Carmi. The Brain Games is organized by the Regional Office of Education #20. Students from high schools in Carmi, Eldorado, Fairfield, Galatia, Gallatin County, Hardin County, Harrisburg, Jasper, NCOE, and Wayne City. 

Juniors Jade Nalley and Carson VanDyke and Sophomores Lilian Crawford and Brayden Kirk competed for more than 4 hours in academic challenges that included foreign languages, flags, geography, math, social studies, science, puzzles, trivia, and hands-on activities. The group constructed a rain forest themed coffee house called The Ant Eatery.
