Federal Student Aid, a part of the U.S. Department of Education, is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation. Federal Student Aid is responsible for managing the student financial assistance programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. These programs provide grants, loans, and work-study funds to students attending college or career school. You can receive help filling out your FAFSA at Southeastern Illinois College on October 3 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and October 21 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Also, help will be available at the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School on October 18 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and again on October 22 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please bring your/your parent's 2018 tax returns and W2 forms, your social security card, and your driver's license.
