CMSF High School FFA

Mr. Darin DeNeal and the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School FFA had a wonderful opportunity on October 3. Mr. DeNeal and the FFA traveled to SIU-Carbondale to listen to Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin is a well known behavior scientist and autism self-advocate. She earned a degree in psychology from Franklin College, a master's degree in animal science from Arizona State University, and she earned a doctorate in animal science from the University of Illinois. Dr. Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, an author, she is the subject of an Emmy Award-winning film called Temple Grandin, and in 2010 she was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
