CMSF Cross Country Competes in the GEC Conference Meet

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Cross Country team traveled to Pope County on October 17 to compete in the GEC Conference Meet. 

For the girls, Senior Abby Whiting finished in 5th Place with a time of 27:44 and Sophomore Emma Odum finished in 14th Place with a time of 32:36. 

In the boys race, Sophomore Aidan Rollins won 2nd Place with a time of 20:00 and Freshman Robbie Hadley was 5th with a time of 20:14. The rest of the boys times were: Malaki Metcalf (20) 22:39, Jacob Reeves (21) 22:49, Brandon Hambleton (24) 23:00, Lester York (27) 23:22, Kyle Bristow (34) 24:20, DC Stout (38) 24:58, Dalton Stevers (49) 28:41, and Mason Kalodner (51) 29.40.

The Boys' team scores: NCOE 48, Carrier Mills-Stonefort 72, Pope County 84, Crab Orchard 92, Gallatin County 103, and Thompsonville 157. 

CMSF Cross Country Coach Mike Eisenhauer said, "I was proud of how the boys ran. They finished 2nd in the Conference. Aidan and Robbie were All-Conference. I was also proud that Abby was All-Conference for the second year in a row."
