The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just held their sixth PBIS Event of the year. After five
homeroom challenges, it is the Sophomore and
Junior Classes tied with two wins each, the Seniors have one win, and the Freshmen are still looking for their first Homeroom Challenge Victory. The Seniors won the Dodgeball Tournament,
the Sophomores won the Volleyball Tournament, the Juniors won
the Relay Race Competition, the Juniors won the Basketball Competition, and the Sophomores
won the Spirit Wall Competition.

Homeroom Challenge #6: The Chicken Football Tournament, took place on February 28. Each class had four teams of four students in the Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

The rules to chicken football are very simple: Five
minutes are placed on the clock. Seven rubber chickens are put in the
middle of the floor. Two teams of four are on opposite ends of the gym. The first
one in each line runs to center court, the two opponents play a quick round of rock, paper, scissors, with the winner picking up the rubber chicken and the loser stepping off the
playing field. The person that gets the chicken runs in a straight line towards
the opponent’s end zone. The next opponent begins running straight towards the
player holding the chicken. When they are in front of each other, the player
drops the chicken, and they play a quick game of rock, paper, scissors. The
winner picks up the chicken and runs towards the opponent’s end zone. The loser
steps off the playing field. This game of rock, paper, scissors continues until
a player makes it into the end zone. The team that scores four touchdowns first
is the winner and advances to the next round of play.

In the Round of Sixteen it was Motsinger's Mean Green Machine over Klope's Fighting Illini 4-3, Mitchell's Marauders won 4-1 over Mathews' Mighty Marvels, Waite's Gold Medalists defeated Ryan's Renegades 4-3, Eisenhauer's Giant Killers skunked DeNeal's Destroyers 4-0, Craig's Crazies lost to Manier's White Knights 4-1, Long's Black Mambas defeated Lane's Lunatics 4-0, Anderson's Amazing Ones defeated Hancock's Heroes 4-3, and Kuhlmann's Killaz won 4-2 over Pappy's Paralyzers.

In the Elite Eight Motsinger's Mean Green Machine upset Mitchell's Marauders 4-2, Eisenhauer's Giant Killers kept rolling with a 4-1 win over Waite's Gold Medalists, Long's Black Mambas squeaked by Manier's White Knights 4-3, and Kuhlmann's Killaz came back to defeat Anderson's Amazing Ones 4-3.
