The Senior of the Week from the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School for September 22 is Mr. Alex Smith. Alex was born on June 23. He wants to be someone who is remembered for making plenty of mistakes, but working hard to overcome them. Alex says his best friend is Skyler, his favorite food is chicken, and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Dombrow. His favorite quote is "Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships," his favorite candy bar is a Milky Way, and his favorite celebrity is Steph Curry. His favorite grade school memory was the time his shirt was too tight so he had a teacher cut the collar to make it fit, his favorite junior high memory was playing in the gaga pit, and his best high school memory so far was when he and another classmate ran into each other playing football and they both broke their glasses. Alex would like to tell his fellow classmates, "Do your work and listen to your teachers."
