Homeroom Challenge #6: The Basketball Competition took place on Friday, January 16. This competition had four different events: 1) Team Spirit Competition (Percentage of students wearing their class colors), 2) Speed Dribble Competition (One boy and one girl from each class dribbled around chairs up and down the floor), 3) Speed Passing Competition (Two teams of five students passed the ball up and down the floor), and 4) Hot Shot Competition (Four students had one minute to make as many shots as they could). The Sophomore Class finished the event in 1st Place with 149 points, the Juniors were 2nd Place with 136 points, the Senior Class finished in 3rd Place with 131 points, and the Freshmen finished in 4th Place with 116 points. Freshman Karsyn Metten won the Hot Shot Competition for the girls and Senior Kendon Hull won for the boys.
