As of 2021, Illinois added completing financial aid as a graduation requirement. We will create an account with each student. We will fill out most of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) together. All students are required to fill this out as a graduation requirement.
Important Information for Seniors and Parents
This form will open on October 1, 2026.
Seniors need to know their social security number for many forms this year.
Parents will need to create a parent account linked to their student's account so that they can put in the prior year’s tax information to complete the form.
Please fill it out for the 2027-2028 school year (possibly their first year of college or trade school).
FAFSA Night
We will offer a FAFSA Night at the high school library to help anyone needing assistance completing the form on November 5 from 3:30-5:30 pm.
