The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Cross Country team competed at Norris City on September 24 against NCOE, Pope County, Crab Orchard, Gallatin County, and Thompsonville. The individual places and times for the girls were: Lizzie Bristow (8th Place) 26:25, Kaylee Smith (9) 26:36, Emma Odum (12) 29:04, and Layna Odum (13) 30:25. In the boys' race: Robbie Hadley (4th Place) 18:30, Aidan Rollins (7) 19:04, D.C. Stout (14) 20:12, Zavier Rollins (16) 20:27, and Nathan Collins (21) 21:25.
The Final Boys' Team Scores were: NCOE 41, Carrier Mills 62, Pope County 62, Crab Orchard 70, Gallatin County NTS, and Thompsonville NTS.
"All of the kids ran really well today," said Coach Eisenhauer. "Several of the kids improved their time 6 or 7 minutes from the first time we ran here three weeks ago. They ran with really good effort today. We keep improving and we are excited to see how fast we can get."
