CMSF Cornhole Champs

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just completed their sixth PBIS Event of the year. Homeroom Challenge #6: The Cornhole Tournament took place the week of March 1. Each class had two teams of two players in this round robin tournament.

The Freshmen teams were: Motsinger's Mean Green Machine- Honey Rose and Logan Morris and Ryan's Renegades- Kaylee Smith and Laney Rister.

The Sophomore teams were: DeNeal's Destroyers- Easton Dalton and Hunter Denney and Anderson's Awesome Ones- Abbi Musgraves and Blain Betz.

The Junior teams were: Craig's Crazies- Braden Snodgrass and Cayden Schapmire and Eisenhauer's Giant Killers- Ethan  Morse and Caden VanMeter.

The Senior teams were: Kuhlmann's Killaz- Mason Kalodner and Haven Martin and Lane's Lunatics- Jeremy Choat and Sam Morris.

In the First Round of Bracket A, it was Craig's Crazies (Juniors) defeating Motsinger's Mean Green Machine (Freshmen) 21 to 6 and DeNeal's Destroyers (Sophomores) defeated Kuhlmann's Killaz (Seniors) 21 to 9.

In Bracket B's First Round it was Lane's Lunatics (Seniors) defeating Ryan's Renegades (Freshmen) 21 to 2 and Eisenhauer's Giant Killers (Juniors) beating Anderson' Awesome Ones (Sophomores) 21 to 15.

In the Semifinals, Easton Dalton and Hunter Denney of DeNeal's Destroyers defeated Cayden Schapmire and Braden Snodgrass of Craig's Crazies 21 to 15. In the second Semifinal match it was Sam Morris and Jeremy Choat of Lane's Lunatics narrowly beating Ethan Morse and Caden VanMeter of Eisenhauer's Giant Killers 21 to 19.

In the Consolation Championship it was Eisenhauer's Giant Killers defeating Craig's Crazies 21 to 20. Coach Eisenhauer, Ethan Morse, and Caden VanMeter were presented with the Consolation Championship belts.

In the Championship Match it was Lane's Lunatics defeating DeNeal's Destroyers 21 to 10. Coach Lane was presented with the Victory is Ours Trophy and Jeremy Choat and Sam Morris were given the Championship belts.

After six events, the Seniors are in first place with 48 points, the Junior Class is in second place with 46 points, the sophomores are in third place with 40 points, and the Freshmen Class is in fourth place with 34 points. The class with the most points after the final PBIS Event of the year will win a pizza party on April 30!
