Paddleball Tournament

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just completed its seventh PBIS Event of the year. Homeroom Challenge #7: The Paddleball Tournament, took place the week of March 29. Paddleball is a combination of volleyball and tennis. Six players are on each side of the volleyball net, each with a plastic racket, and the players try to hit an oversized tennis ball over the net. Each team had to let the ball bounce one time before hitting it and they had three chances to return the ball to the other side. In Round 1 the teams played to 10 points, in Round 2 they played to 12 points, and in Round 3 they played to 15 points.

In the first round of the tournament, it was Mitchell's Marauders (Junior Class) defeating Ryan's Renegades (Freshmen Class) 10-8, Mathews' Mighty Marvels (Seniors) defeating DeNeal's Destroyers (Sophomores) 10-4, Klope's Fighting Illini (Junior Class) defeating Manier's White Knights (Freshmen) 10-6, and Kuhlmann's Killaz (Seniors) defeating Craig's Crazies (Juniors) 10-8.

In Round 2, Mathews' Mighty Marvels advanced with a 12-6 win over Mitchell's Marauders and Kuhlmann's Killaz narrowly defeated Klope's Fighting Illini 13-11.
