Kickball Champions

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just completed their ninth PBIS Event of the year. Homeroom Challenge #9: The Kickball Tournament took place the week of April 19. Each class had one team of ten players in the round robin tournament, and each game was a total of four innings. In Game #1, the Senior Class defeated the Sophomore Class in extra-innings (5-4) and in Game #2 the Junior Class beat the Freshmen Class 8-3. 

In the Championship Game it was Lane's Lunatics (Senior Class) beating Anderson’s Awesome
Ones (Junior Class) 6-1 to claim the Victory is Ours Trophy! Senior Rielly Ward won the Golden Glove Award and fellow Senior Eli Felty won the Golden Foot Award (4-5 with two singles and two triples). Members of Lane's Lunatics are (left to right, front row): Coach Lane, Leia Bryant, Faith Vinson, Devanie Stout, and Jade Hill and (second row) Bryer Blackman, Mason Kalodner, Rielly Ward (Golden Glove), Haven Martin, Eli Felty (Golden Foot), and Jeremy Choat.

After nine events, the Senior Class is in 1st Place with 86 points, the Juniors are in 2nd Place with 62 points, the Sophomores are in 3rd Place with 58 points, and the Freshmen Class
are in 4th Place with 46 points. The class with the most points after the final PBIS Event will get a pizza party during lunch.
