Carrier Mills-Stonefort CUSD 2

Caden VanMeter, a Junior for the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats, was named to the GEC All Conference Baseball Team and to the Southern Illinois Coaches Association (SICA) All South Baseball Team. Caden was a pitcher and played shortstop in 17 games for the Wildcats. As a pitcher, Caden struck out 73 batters, had an ERA of 2.5, and finished the season with a 3-2 record. At the plate, he scored 23 runs, had 26 hits (11 singles, 13 doubles, and 2 triples), had 11 RBI's, 20 stolen bases, and had a .500 batting average.
