Semi-Final #2 was a match-up of the underclassmen. The Sophomore Class, Klope's Fighting Illini, faced the Freshmen Class, Motsinger's Mean Green Machine. In the beginning of the game, it was Freshman JuJu Crisp and Sophomore Laney Rister strong serves that lead to a 6-6 tie. But, the Sophomore Class pulled ahead for good and won 12-10. Sophomore Ethan Nielsen sets up his teammates at the end of the game. This set-up the Consolation Game with the Freshmen vs. the Juniors and the Championship Game with the Seniors vs. the Sophomores.
