The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Senior of the Week for November 1 is Ms. Mackensie Avery. Mackensie was born on May 31. Her favorite color is any shade of blue, her best friends are Presley, Jade, and Kari, and her favorite food is steak. Mackensie's favorite quote is, "There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs." Her favorite book is The Giver, her favorite candy bar is a 100 Grand bar, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Klope. Mackensie's favorite Grade School memory was going on the Earth Day field trips, her best Jr. High memory were the PBIS events, and her favorite High School memory so far was when Mason argued with Mr. Eisenhauer and Mr. Klope. Her favorite movie is Life of Pi, her favorite actress is Emily Blunt, and her favorite musician is Harry Styles. Mackensie wants to be remembered as someone who was kind and welcoming to other students. Her words of wisdom to leave behind for her fellow classmates, "Don't chew gum when Mrs. Waite is your teacher. It takes more energy to be rude than it does to be kind."
