Wall of Fame Ceremony 2021

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School held their 2021-2022 Wall of Fame Ceremony on November 29.

Mr. Bryce K. Jerrell, CMSF Superintendent and High School Principal, welcomed the crowd of 38 students and around 150 guests to DeWitt Gymnasium. "I have always considered this a very unique ceremony," Jerrell said. "Most awards ceremonies are featured at the end of the school year or at the end of a sports’ season. This ceremony takes place at the beginning of the year in either October or November."

Mr. Jerrell went on to explain that in order to be inducted into this prestigious group, you have to be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 4.25 or higher at this point in your high school career.  Each student that met this criteria was awarded a certificate of accomplishment, and an 8”x10” photograph of each student was added to the Wall of Fame display in the main hallway of the school.

For the Freshmen, anyone that graduated from the Grade School with an 85% average or higher throughout their Jr. High years are considered a Potential Wall of Fame member. They were recognized with a certificate and a group picture of the Potential Wall of Fame students was added to the main hallway, as well.
