The FFA Section 25 Livestock and Dairy Judging CDE (Career Development Event) was held at the Saline County Fairgrounds on April 5th. Carrier Mills-Stonefort FFA competed in these events, along with the 12 other schools in the section. Overall, CMSF’s Livestock team got 6th place and the Dairy team got 7th.
The CMSF Livestock Judging Team was anchored by seniors Hailey Gwaltney, Emmalee Fly, Cydney Maxfield, and Kitana Stout. Laney Rister was the lone underclassmen on the team. Livestock team alternates were Braden Snodgrass, Easton Dalton, Ethan Nielsen, Alli Parks, and Cadence Boaz.
The CMSF Dairy Judging Team included senior Aubrey Bozarth, and sophomores Laney Rister, Kaylee Klope, Brianna Cullers, and Lizzie Bristow. The team alternates were DC Stout, Blain Betz, Riley Avery, and Hunter Patterson.
Individually, Laney Rister was CMSF’s high finisher, placing 5th in Dairy Judging.
