Eisenhauer's Giant Killers (Sophomore Class)

In the Consolation Championship, Eisenhauer's Giant Killers came out of the gate swinging to take a 12-4 lead after one inning. The Sophomore Class went on to win 14-4 and claim the Consolation Championship.

The Championship Game came down to the Junior Class and the Freshmen. DeNeal's Destroyers started off with 4 runs in the first, but Nolen's Nightmares erupted for 10 runs in the bottom half of the inning. Anniston Zertuche led off the game with a single, and after a ground out by Easton Dalton, the Juniors had six consecutive singles to take a 10-4 lead. In the second inning, the Destroyers responded with 6 runs, thanks to a 3-run homerun by Logan Daughenbaugh and a few batters later another 3-run homerun by Brianna Grissom to tie the game at 10-10. The Freshmen then held the Juniors scoreless in the bottom half of the inning, after a tremendous double play by Nate Shafer ended the Nightmare's scoring opportunity.

In the third and final inning Daughenbaugh gave the Freshmen their first lead with another 3-run homerun. With the score 13-10, the Juniors started the bottom of the inning with a single by Riley Vinson and a 2-run homerun by Zertuche cutting the lead to 13-12. Dalton then singled to right and advanced to second on a fielder's choice by Musgraves. He later came in to score on a single by Caleb Roski. With the score tied, Anna Sturgill came to the plate and hit a walk-off single, plating Roski and giving the Juniors the 14-13 win.
