Dodgeball Tournament

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just completed their first PBIS Event of the year. PBIS stands for Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports. Basically, it is a way to reward students for their appropriate choices and positive behavior. The students that follow the Rule of Five (Attend School, Learn Something New, Ask Questions, Tell the Truth, and Treat Others with Respect), were allowed to participate in the event.

Homeroom Challenge #1: The Dodgeball Tournament, took place on September 2. Each class had a team of up to fifteen students in the tournament. Five minutes were placed on the clock, eight dodgeballs were placed in the middle of the floor, and the first team to eliminate their opponent's entire team were declared the winners. If time ran out on the clock before either team was eliminated, the team with the most players left on the floor were the winners.
