The Carrier Mills-Stonefort scholar bowl team split matches this morning with NCOE.
The varsity Wildcats (3-1) won 110-80 over the Redbirds. Junior Brianna Cullers led the team with 40 points. Senior captain Kaylee Horn scored 30, junior Matty Kerley scored 20, junior Devyn Valdez scored 10, and sophomore Jade Nalley scored 10.
After leading through the first 16 rounds of 24, the junior varsity scholar bowl team lost by one question, 190-180, to the JV Redbirds. The JV Wildcats (2-2) were led by freshman Lilian Crawford with 90 points. Nalley scored 70 in the JV match, and freshman Brayden Kirk scored 20.
