The Carrier Mills-Stonefort scholar bowl team enjoyed a two-game split at Gallatin County.
The junior varsity Wildcats (3-2) won 230-110 over the JV Hawks. Freshman Lilian Crawford led the JV team with 70 points. Sophomore Jade Nalley scored 50, freshman Brayden Harmon scored 40, freshman Brayden Kirk scored 40, sophomore Cadence Boaz scored 20, and junior Kaylee Klope scored 10.
The varsity Wildcats (3-2) dropped their match to the varsity Hawks, 210-100. Crawford led the varsity Cats with 30 points. Junior Brianna Cullers scored 20, junior Devyn Valdez scored 20, Nalley scored 20, and senior Kaylee Horn scored 10.
The scholar bowl team is off until next week, when they have two home matches. The Wildcats go for the season sweep against Crab Orchard next Wednesday morning at 9:30., and on Thursday, the scholar bowl team will play Thompsonville at 11 a.m.
