The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Scholar Bowl teams each improved to 5-2 on the season with a home sweep of Thompsonville on December 8.
The Varsity Wildcats won 210-30 over the varsity Tigers. Sophomore Jade Nalley led the Wildcats with 90 points. Junior Brianna Cullers scored 30, freshman Lilian Crawford scored 20, freshman Brayden Kirk scored 20, junior Devyn Valdez scored 20, senior Morgan Murphy scored 10, and freshman Elijah Cummins scored 10.
The JV Wildcats won 90-60 over the JV Tigers. Freshman captain Brayden Harmon led the team with 50 points, Kirk scored 30, and Crawford scored 10.
The Wildcats are off until next Tuesday, when they travel to Pope County for a road match.
