We are excited to announce our pre-kindergarten program will be transitioning to a FULL DAY beginning on October 5. If you are interested in having your 3 or 4 year old child screened for pre-kindergarten, please call Mrs. Beth Dillard at (618) 994-2413. Screenings for Pre-Kindergarten will be scheduled on October 1 and 2 for this school year. If your child will be 3 before October 1, he or she could qualify for our pre-k program.
It's Catskin Day Weekend, which means the Junior Class Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday, September 26 at the grade school cafeteria from 8:00 - 10:00 am. Please come out and support the Junior Class as they fundraise for prom. Remember to bring your tickets if you purchased them from a junior or you can pay at the door. Adults are $8 and students are $5. We hope to see you there!
The cross country meet for today is canceled due to the heat.
The high school volleyball game scheduled for 9/21 at Hardin County will be moved to 10/5. The bus will leave at 4:30 pm.
Junior High Baseball will play tonight, September 11 at 6:30 pm at Oasis in Marion. Junior High Softball will play tomorrow, Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 am at Oasis in Marion. Everyone will be charged $5 at the gate for each game.

Due to extreme heat, the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Junior High baseball and softball games have been cancelled.

Attention Wildcat Community: Tonight is the first home volleyball game of the season at the High School. We will play Dongola. The Varsity game will begin at 6:00 pm this evening, and we will have no Junior Varsity game. All parents/guardians should be informed that elementary (PreK-8th grade) students will not be allowed to attend home volleyball games as spectators without a parent or guardian accompanying them to the game. Students cannot be dropped off to watch the game without adult supervision. If your child is dropped off or walks to the game without supervision, they will not be allowed to enter the game and the parent/guardian will be called to pick them up. During the August 17, 2026, School Board Meeting, the Carrier Mills-Stonefort CUSD #2 School Board updated Board Policy 5:125 which prohibits school faculty, staff, and administration from communicating with parents/guardians and/or students using personal messaging systems such as text messaging, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. If you need to contact a school employee about your child or young adult, please use their school email and/or the Rooms App to communicate about school matters. School faculty, staff, and administration have been instructed to only use school provided messaging communication systems when passing along information about your child/young adult. Junior High Baseball tryouts for 5th-8th-grade boys will be held at the High School baseball field on Wednesday, July 22nd, at 4:00 p.m. Participants must bring a copy of their current physical and proof of insurance.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School Awards Day is today at 9:00 am in the gym. Today is the last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. The first day of the 2026-2027 school year is Wednesday, August 12. The back to school bash will be Monday, August 10,. Have a great summer!!

bigger than yourself? The Carrier Mills Cross Country team is looking for returning runners and
any high school students interested in joining our team this season!
Cross Country is for everyone! Whether you are already a runner, play another sport, or simply
want to improve your fitness and mental toughness. You do not have to be the fastest athlete to
join. What matters most is effort, commitment, and willingness to grow!
Our summer practices will begin on June 2nd at the High School and will take place every
Tuesday at 6:00 AM throughout the summer. Each runner will also receive weekly “practice
homework” to do on their own or with a friend or teammate to help build endurance and prepare
for the season.
