Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School Awards Day is today at 9:00 am in the gym. Today is the last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. The first day of the 2026-2027 school year is Wednesday, August 12. The back to school bash will be Monday, August 10,. Have a great summer!!

CROSS COUNTRY
Dear High School Students,
Are you ready to challenge yourself, get stronger, build friendships, and be part of something
bigger than yourself? The Carrier Mills Cross Country team is looking for returning runners and
any high school students interested in joining our team this season!
Cross Country is for everyone! Whether you are already a runner, play another sport, or simply
want to improve your fitness and mental toughness. You do not have to be the fastest athlete to
join. What matters most is effort, commitment, and willingness to grow!
Our summer practices will begin on June 2nd at the High School and will take place every
Tuesday at 6:00 AM throughout the summer. Each runner will also receive weekly “practice
homework” to do on their own or with a friend or teammate to help build endurance and prepare
for the season.

Baseball Parents/Guardians: Baseball Regionals at NCOE Monday, 5/25 at 4:30 PM The bus will leave at 3:00 PM. There will be no admission fee for the first round of regionals.

Attention Parents/Guardians: Game Update Today's baseball game has been canceled. We will share any rescheduling information as soon as it's available. Thank you.

Attention Softball Parents/Guardians: If you are planning on going to this afternoon's regional softball game, there is an entry fee of $6.00. This price is set by the IHSA and is not set by the school. You can either pay when you get there or order them online. Sorry for the inconvenience.

High School Softball Parents/Guardians: Due to the Jr. High graduation, tomorrow's game time is now at 4:00 PM (instead of 4:30). The player bus leaves at 2:00 PM. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Buses 3 and 4 are combined and will be dropping off late today.

Graduation Reminder & Upcoming High School Events

Graduation will be held on Friday, May 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in DeWitt Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

Upcoming High School Events:
• Tuesday, May 26 – Awards Day for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors at 11:30 a.m.

• Wednesday, May 27 – Last Full Day of School for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors (locker clean-out day)

• Wednesday, May 27 – High School Sports Banquet in DeWitt Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m.

• Thursday, May 28 – Semester Exam Day #1 from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

• Friday, May 29 – Semester Exam Day #2 (for students needing to complete exams from Thursday or who were absent on Day #1), Early Dismissal at 1:45 p.m., and the last day of school for the 2025–2026 school year.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Junior High sports banquet will be on Tuesday, May 12 at 6:00 pm in the grade school gym.

Senior Scholarship/Awards Night is Monday, May 11, at 6 pm in the high school gym. We hope to see you there.

Reschedule baseball game update:

Because of the middle school sports banquet, the high school baseball game that was originally rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12th, is now being moved to Friday, May 22nd.

Attention CMSF Softball Parents: The softball team will be playing at the Oasis Softball Complex in Marion tomorrow at 4:30 PM on Field C3 (purple/green field)! There will be a $5.00 admission fee. Bus leaves at 2:45 PM Players dismissed at 2:30 PM Come out and support the team!

Attention Parents: Today’s baseball and softball games at Crab Orchard have been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.

Bus 3 and 4 will be combined this afternoon. Please be patient as drop off times will vary.

Spring pictures will be tomorrow, Thursday, April 30. Only those students who want to purchase pictures will be photographed tomorrow. A link will be sent after the photographs have been taken for purchase.
