Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School presents “Beauty and the Beast Jr” on Thursday, March 19 at 7:00pm and Friday, March 20 at 7:00pm at the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center at Southeastern Illinois College. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. You may pre-order tickets or purchase them at the door the night of the show. Please contact Mr. Long at clong@cmsfcats.org for your tickets.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School will host our spring open house tonight, Thursday, March 5. The open house will be from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm and will also include dinner (chicken on the beach and nachos) for our Wildcats and their families in the cafeteria. The book fair will be open in the library with all proceeds helping fund new books for our school and classroom libraries. Each classroom teacher will have projects completed by your children in their classrooms. We hope you can join us for our open house!

Pre-K Screenings will be on Monday, March 16. If your child will be 3 before March 16, you can schedule a screening. Call Mrs. Beth Dillard at Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School to schedule a screening.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort PTO pastry fundraiser order forms and money are due tomorrow.

Bus 3 and 4 will be combined today. Please be patient as drop off times will vary.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Junior High volleyball game will be played at home tonight instead of at Pope County. The JV game will start at 6:00 pm.

This is just a reminder, but tonight is Senior Night. We will recognize the Class of 2026 between the JV and Varsity Basketball games this evening. All seniors and their parents/guardians should report to Mrs. Craig’s classroom at 6:30 pm for pictures. You will then line up outside of Mr. DeNeal’s room and be called to the floor for recognition.

The JV game for tomorrow night has been canceled, so we will only have a varsity game. All kiddie clinic performers will need to get to the high school at 6:00 to perform at halftime of the varsity basketball game.

Just a reminder, but tonight's high school game at Shawnee has been moved up and will start at 5:30 p.m. The bus will leave the school at 3:45 p.m., and only one game will be played.

Attention Class of 2026: Our Senior Night is scheduled for Friday, February 13. Between the JV and Varsity Basketball games, we will recognize our Seniors and their accomplishments over the past four years. We will take pictures of the seniors and their parents/guardians at 6:30 pm outside of Mrs. Craig's classroom. Once the JV game has ended, we will then call the seniors, along with their parents/guardians, to the floor to be recognized. Please plan on attending our Senior Night Ceremony scheduled for Friday, February 13.

High School Basketball/Cheerleader Parents/Guardians: Update regarding Friday night's game at Shawnee: Please note that not only has the start time has been moved up, but there will now be only one game played.

Attention Wildcat Community: The game, at Shawnee this Friday, has been moved up. It will now start at 5:30 p.m. The bus will leave the school at 3:45 p.m.

The makeup game at Gallatin County originally scheduled for this evening will now be scheduled for February 18th.

Attention Basketball/Cheerleader Parents: Tomorrow’s high school basketball game has been postponed. A makeup date will be announced at a later time.

Attention Wildcat Community: The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School and High School will be back in session on Tuesday, February 3. Buses will run where possible, and we ask everyone to travel safely tomorrow morning to and from school. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!

Wildcat Parents/Guardians: This is just a reminder that the Kiddie Clinic practice for this evening has been canceled.

Wildcat Community: It’s Groundhog Day, again, but we will not have school on Monday, February 2. We are still dealing with snow, dangerous road conditions, and extremely cold temperatures. We will try again on Tuesday. Stay warm, stay safe, Let’s Go Wildcats!

Wildcat Basketball Fans: The GEC Tournament will begin this afternoon and end Saturday evening. Due to the snow and ice, this will be a single elimination tournament, with the Wildcats playing today at SIC vs. Hardin County at 3:30 pm.
