
Both the junior high volleyball and 5th/6th grade basketball games have been cancelled for tomorrow night. These will be rescheduled for a later date.

All Young Authors Books must be turned in by Friday, February 21, 2025. Please have students turn these into their teachers by 3:00 pm on Friday. Thank you to all who participated. We are excited to see your creativity shine!!

Recently, one of our Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School seniors was involved in a car accident. Senior Brayden Skaggs is currently recovering from his injuries and we would like to let him know that we are thinking of him and hoping for a speedy recovery. So, on Friday, February 14, all students, faculty, staff, and administration will be asked to wear red and/or a hat in support of Brayden. Also, we are asking that you bring a $1.00 donation to be given to the Skaggs' family. We will see everyone tomorrow dressed in their Red for Brayden!

Just a reminder: Tonight's game is varsity only. The game will start at 5:30 p.m. Also, this is senior night. All Seniors and their parents/guardians should be at the game at 5:00 pm.

CMSF Unit 2 Schools will not be accepting any Valentine deliveries. All of the local flower and specialty shops are aware of this request. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
Also, school will not be in session on Monday, February 17 for President’s Day.

This is just a reminder, but all Carrier Mills-Stonefort students are encouraged to wear maroon tomorrow in support of the Cobden community who lost a student last weekend. The Grade School students can wear caps/hats or wear maroon and the High School students may wear maroon tomorrow. We will also collect donations to present to the family at the basketball game at Cobden this Saturday, February 8. Please help us show our support to the Cobden community tomorrow. Attention Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Class of 2025: This Friday, February 7 is our final home basketball game and it will be the Class of 2025 Senior Night. We have been informed that Shawnee does not have a JV team, so the Varsity game will begin at 5:30 pm. All Seniors and their parents/guardians should be at the game at 5:00 pm. Once you are at the game, you will meet outside Mrs. Craig's room with your parents/guardians for pictures. Next, you will line up outside Mr. DeNeal's room with your parents. Finally, you will be called to the floor at the beginning of the Varsity basketball game around 5:30 pm for recognition. Please contact the school if you have any questions about Senior Night. On Thursday, February 6 the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School will support the family of a Cobden student who passed suddenly over the weekend by wearing caps or crazy hats/caps. To participate in Crazy Caps for Cam, we are asking for a $1.00 donation, which will go to the student's family. If you would like to support the family by wearing their school colors of maroon and white, that also works. We appreciate all of the support and know the family and community of Cobden will as well. Thank you.

Attention Wildcat Community: The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Basketball team will travel to Cobden this Saturday, February 8 to play the Cobden Appleknockers in their Homecoming Game at 12:00 pm. As you may have heard, Cobden lost a High School student over the weekend. To show our support to the Cobden community, we are encouraging our students, faculty, staff, and administration to wear maroon on Thursday, February 6. We will also collect donations for the student's family, which will be delivered to the Cobden High School this Saturday. Please help us in showing our support to the Cobden community by wearing your maroon this Thursday. Let's Go Wildcats!

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Cheerleaders will be hosting a Pink Out Themed Kiddie Clinic during the Pink Out Game on Tuesday, February 4th. Forms have been passed out and are due on Friday, January 24. The clinic practices will be on Wednesday, January 29 and Monday, February 3 from 3:15-4:45 at the grade school. The clinic is open to students in grades Pre-K- 5th grade. The performance will be at halftime of both the JV and varsity games on Tuesday, February 4.

Carrier Mills Unit 2 Students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 9th grade must have a dental exam to attend school. Dental Safari is a free service provided to our students to help them obtain this exam. Dental exams will be given by Dental Safari at Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School on March 12th. Permission slips will be sent home today for students who need an exam. If your child needs a dental exam, please complete the form and return it to his or her teacher. High school students may also get a dental exam on March 12th from Dental Safari. High school students can pick up a Dental Safari form from the high school office. Bus 1 and 2 will be combined this afternoon , as well morning and afternoon tomorrow. Please allow for varied pickup and drop off times.

Reminder: Senior parents: FAFSA night is tonight from 3-6 pm in Mrs. Craig’s classroom. A representative from SIC will be here to help you fill it out. Please bring your 2023 tax information and know your child’s social security number. Please get in touch with Mrs. Craig today if you have any questions.

School will be in session tomorrow, January 14, for the Carrier Mills-Stonefort school district. Bus routes will run as usual, unless you have been contacted by the bus company. Carrier Mills-Stonefort Junior High Volleyball tryouts will be on Tuesday, January 14 from 3-5pm. 5th& 6th grade basketball tryouts have been moved to Friday, January 17 from 5:30-7:30pm.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort 5th & 6th grade basketball tryouts will be Monday, January 13 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Students in grades 4-6 are allowed to try out. Students must have a current physical and proof of insurance to be eligible for tryouts.
