Attention Wildcat Community: Due to the ice and snow we have currently received and the ice, snow, and low temperatures expected tonight and tomorrow, students will not report to school on Tuesday, February 9. This will be a remote learning day instead. Assignments have been sent home with all Grade School students and all High School students will have their assignments posted online. All At Risk Parent/Teacher Conferences for Tuesday afternoon will be rescheduled. Also, this Wednesday, February 10 is a remote learning Wednesday, so students will not report to school on this day. If your child or young adult would like a breakfast and lunch this Tuesday and Wednesday, they will be available for pick-up at the Grade School Cafeteria doors between 8:00 am-10:00 am each day. Stay safe and have a wonderful evening. -- Mr. Bryce K. Jerrell Superintendent/H.S. Principal Carrier Mills-Stonefort CUSD#2

Attention High School Wildcat Fans: In our ever changing world of high school athletics, the IHSA and IDPH have made the decision to allow some spectators to attend home basketball games. All spectators must be seated at least twelve feet from the floor, sit six feet apart, wear masks, and have their temperature checked before entering the gym.  So, each cheerleader and basketball player may have one parent or guardian attend each of the final four home games this year. All  spectators must enter the school through the front doors. You must wear a mask the entire time you are in the building. You will have your temperature checked at the front door and you will then report directly to the gym. You will sit on the permanent bleachers where your young adult's name is posted. Once the game is over, you must leave the gym and exit through the front door. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the rules established by the Illinois Department of Public Health. We realize this is not ideal, but it is a small price to pay in order to allow a few spectators into the gym for the remainder of the basketball season. Go Wildcats!

To watch our Wildcat Home and Away Basketball games, please go to the school website at cmsfcats.org. At the top of the page, on the right hand side, just select CMSF Athletics Live Stream.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School would like to announce that we will begin our Basketball and Cheerleading season this Friday, February 5. We have a home game versus Thompsonville that begins at 6:00 pm. We do regret to inform you that due to the pandemic we will have to follow strict mitigations that will not allow us to admit spectators into our gym. All players, cheerleaders, coaches, managers, officials, and scorekeepers entering the gym will be required to wear a mask at all times. Also, they will have their temperature checked at the door and they must practice social distancing while not participating in the athletic event. We understand this is not an ideal situation, but it is a small price to pay to begin our basketball season. Let's Go Wildcats!
