REMINDER: The cheer clinic will perform one more time Friday, December 6 at the Carrier Mills High School Homecoming game. Cheer clinic participants should arrive at the high school at 5:15 pm, they will perform at halftime of the JV game. Please drop your child off on the permanent bleachers where the junior high cheerleaders will be sitting. You will also pick up your cheerleader at the permanent bleachers after the 4th and 5th grade performance. Please stay off the gym floor while the game is in play.
Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School presents “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 11 at 7:00 pm in the grade school gym. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. and are on sale now. Please contact Mr. Long at clong@cmsfcats.org for your tickets.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School would like to invite you to the annual Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 8 at 9:30 am in the elementary school gym.
The first performance for the cheer clinic participants will be tomorrow night, Friday, November 8 at the Homecoming Basketball Game at the Elementary School. If your child participated in the cheer clinic, please arrive at the school by 5:15 pm. Your child should wear black shorts or leggings and black or white shoes and will be given a cheer clinic shirt before the performance.
Carrier Mills-Stonefort Unit 2 Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5 for election day. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5 for a teacher in-service.
Students who have a signed permission slip to leave at 11:00 am to get dressed for Halloween on Thursday do not need to be signed out in the office. Students who do not have a signed permission slip to leave will be sent to the cafeteria for lunch and all students with permission slips to leave at 11:00 will be dismissed like a normal dismissal. Students who leave to get dressed should return to school by 12:20 pm for the costume parade at 12:30 pm in the gym. Carrier Mills-Stonefort Unit 2 Schools will dismiss all students at 1:45 pm following the costume parade.

This is a reminder that Jostens will be here tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30th, at 8:30 a.m. in the CMSF High School library for class ring and letter jacket orders. Please be sure to look through the materials that were sent home with your student for more information.
Monday, October 28 is picture day for Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School. Picture packets will be given to students on Monday and pictures can be ordered on-line after picture day. Sports pictures will be taken on Monday for baseball players, softball players, basketball players, and cheerleaders. Please send uniforms to school for pictures.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School and High School have been notified that we are under a boil order again tomorrow. This means the students will not have access to the water fountains. We encourage everyone to send a water bottle to school tomorrow. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
As our basketball season approaches, parents should be informed that elementary (K-8) students will not be allowed to attend basketball games as spectators without a parent or guardian accompanying them to the game. Students cannot be dropped off to watch the game without adult supervision. This includes students in all grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. If your child is dropped off or walks to the game without supervision, the parent or guardian will be called to pick them up.
The cheer clinic will be tomorrow, Thursday, October 24 from 3:00-4:30 pm. The end time has changed due to the home basketball game tomorrow night. Please pick up cheer clinic participants by 4:30 pm tomorrow.
