We will have a Zoodles Assembly at the Grade School next Tuesday, May 10. A note has been sent home, but in order for your student to attend, they must sign and return the note by next Tuesday. The permission slip will also allow you to have pictures taken with certain animals. Although their is a cost for the pictures, their is no cost for the assembly. The students just need to return their permission slip in order to attend.
Carrier Mills-Stonefort students will NOT be dismissed at 1:45 today. School will be on regular schedule and students will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m.
Reminder: The tutoring program that has been running on Tuesdays and Thursdays has ended for K-5th grades. Tutoring will continue for those 6th-8th grade students who were notified today. If you have any questions please contact the Grade School.
Carrier Mills Unit #2 schools will be practicing security measures and drills which are mandated by Illinois law. During this time, it will not be uncommon to see emergency personnel at the schools as police officers and firefighters assist us on implementation. There is no need to be alarmed. Attention Class of 2022: Your Caps & Gowns have arrived for Graduation. They cost $35 each and are available in Mrs. Kuhlmann’s office. The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School softball game at Gallatin County has been postponed due to a lack of officials. The game will be played tomorrow.
This Tuesday, April 26, 2022 around 10:00 am, we will have a Mock Disaster Drill at the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School. This drill will involve the local police department, the fire department, EMS, the sheriff's department, and air evac. Please do not be alarmed when you see this mock drill at the CMSF High School. The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School softball game scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2022 at Gallatin County has been moved to Tuesday, April 26, 2022 due to a scheduling conflict for Gallatin.
Due to the inclement weather expected around 3:00 pm, Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School and High School will dismiss at 1:30 pm today. We are sorry if this causes any issues with pick-up, but we take our students safety very seriously and this should get everyone home before the storm hits.
