
Attention Seniors: This Friday, May 12, is Senior Pick-Up for Caps & Gowns in Mrs. Craig’s classroom at 7:45 am, the Senior Walk of Fame & 8th Grade Letters at the Grade School at 8:00 am, Senior Graduation Pictures at the High School at 8:30 am, and Senior Graduation Practice from 9:00-10:00 am. Also, Friday is the High School Graduation Ceremony. Depending on the weather, this will begin at 7:00 pm on the Softball Field or DeWitt Gymnasium. Seniors and the Junior Marshals and Ushers must be at the High School by 6:45 pm Friday to line up for the ceremony.

Attention Parents of Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 9th grade students this is a reminder that the Illinois Dental Exam forms are due by Monday May 15th. Each child is required to present proof of examination by a dentist or an appointment card with a scheduled appointment prior to May 15th. The PTO Laundry Soap Fundraiser will be delivered on Thursday, May 11 from 3:00-6:00 pm in the cafeteria. If your child sold laundry soap, please pick up on Thursday.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School Student Council will be hosting a spring dance on Friday, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Doors to the school will open at 6:00 pm for entry to the dance. Only dance attendees will be allowed into the building with a purchased ticket. Parents/guardians, siblings, etc. will not be allowed entry into the building. Please plan to pick up your child promptly at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the dance will be on sale beginning Monday, April 17. The tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Mrs. Kristy before and after school. Please remember only Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School students in grades 6-8 will be allowed to attend the dance. Also, if your student has more than 9 PBIS points based on attendance, tardiness, and office discipline referrals, he or she will not be allowed to attend. The school dress code will also be enforced at the dance. If your student arrives at the dance with inappropriate clothing, he or she will not be allowed to attend the dance.

Join us this Thursday, April 13th at 6PM at the CMSF Grade School for a presentation on Cyberbullying. This is for parents/guardians/community members only. This presentation is for adults only and not students. Internet safety is something that we should all be concerned with. It is something that we want to ensure we educate ourselves on so that we can do our best to protect our youth and children. We hope to see you there!
