Junior Class Parents: There will be an after-prom meeting tonight at the Red and White Build at the Saline Co. Fairgrounds in Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m.
The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary Sports Banquet will be on Thursday, May 4 at 6:00 pm in the grade school gym. Students in grades 5-8 who have participated in basketball, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, and baseball will be recognized on this night.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 8:15 am-3:00 pm at Carrier Mills-Stonefort Elementary School. Parents are also welcome to register at the pre-k transition night on Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00 pm at the elementary school. If you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023, you must register him or her for next year at this time. Please bring a birth certificate, current physical and vaccination records if possible with you to registration. If you have questions, please call the elementary school at (618) 994-2413.
The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School Student Council will be hosting a spring dance on Friday, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Doors to the school will open at 6:00 pm for entry to the dance. Only dance attendees will be allowed into the building with a purchased ticket. Parents/guardians, siblings, etc. will not be allowed entry into the building. Please plan to pick up your child promptly at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the dance will be on sale beginning Monday, April 17. The tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Mrs. Kristy before and after school. Please remember only Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School students in grades 6-8 will be allowed to attend the dance. Also, if your student has more than 9 PBIS points based on attendance, tardiness, and office discipline referrals, he or she will not be allowed to attend. The school dress code will also be enforced at the dance. If your student arrives at the dance with inappropriate clothing, he or she will not be allowed to attend the dance.

This presentation is for adults only and not students. Internet safety is something that we should all be concerned with. It is something that we want to ensure we educate ourselves on so that we can do our best to protect our youth and children. We hope to see you there! As you can imagine, this has caused chaos in many communities. We thank our local police department for contacting us quickly and checking on our schools. Once in the testing room, students are not allowed to eat. Also, make sure to bring your calculators. If you are late to school, you will not be allowed in the testing room. Your child will be sent home and this will count as an unexcused absence. Please make sure you are on time to school.

Freshmen and sophomores will take the PSAT, and juniors will take the SAT. Please have your student at the high school by 8:00 a.m. Students who are late will not be allowed to test that day.
