Attention Parents of Baseball and Softball Players: Today's softball game against Hardin Co. has been canceled. Hardin Co. does not have enough players to play. We will try to reschedule. The baseball game will still be played.

Each child must present proof of examination by a dentist or an appointment card with a scheduled appointment before May 15th. The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School Student Council will be hosting a spring dance on Friday, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Doors to the school will open at 6:00 pm for entry to the dance. Only dance attendees will be allowed into the building with a purchased ticket. Parents/guardians, siblings, etc. will not be allowed entry into the building. Please plan to pick up your child promptly at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the dance will be on sale beginning Monday, April 17. The tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Mrs. Kristy before and after school. Please remember only Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School students in grades 6-8 will be allowed to attend the dance. Also, if your student has more than 9 PBIS points based on attendance, tardiness, and office discipline referrals, he or she will not be allowed to attend. The school dress code will also be enforced at the dance. If your student arrives at the dance with inappropriate clothing, he or she will not be allowed to attend the dance.

This presentation is for adults only and not students. Internet safety is something that we should all be concerned with. It is something that we want to ensure we educate ourselves on so that we can do our best to protect our youth and children. We hope to see you there! There will be light refreshments as well as great information!

As you can imagine, this has caused chaos in many communities. We thank our local police department for contacting us quickly and checking on our schools. We want everyone to know that our students are safe and attending classes. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

Attention Parents/Guardians/Students: The SAT/PSAT will be given tomorrow, April 12th. Students need to either eat breakfast before they come or eat as soon as they get to school. Once in the testing room, students are not allowed to eat. Also, make sure to bring your calculators. If you are late to school, you will not be allowed in the testing room. Your child will be sent home and this will count as an unexcused absence. Please make sure you are on time to school.
Attention parents/guardians: All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be state testing at the high school on Wednesday, April 12. Freshmen and sophomores will take the PSAT, and juniors will take the SAT. Please have your student at the high school by 8:00 a.m. Students who are late will not be allowed to test that day.
