
Tonight’s Junior High volleyball game is canceled.

Although school in not in session tomorrow, the CMSF High School Basketball team will play for the Regional Championship Friday night at 7:00 pm against NCOE at Gallatin County. Also, the High School Homecoming Coronation and Dance will be held on Saturday, February 26. The Coronation will begin at 7:00 pm and the Dance will end at 10:00 pm. Student Council members need to report to the gym from 9:00-10:00 am on Saturday to set up the gym and everyone in the court needs to report to the gym from 10:00-11:00 am for practice. If you still need to purchase Homecoming tickets, they can be purchased at the gym Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 for $5.00 each. Go Wildcats!

Attention Seniors and their Parents: Tonight's basketball game will be our Senior Night. All Seniors and their parents should arrive at the game by 6:30 pm. Tomorrow nights Jr High Volleyball game vs Pope County has been cancelled.


On March 2, students in grades 10 and 12 will be asked to participate in a voluntary survey called the Illinois Youth Survey, the purpose of which is
to better understand Illinois youth risk and protective behaviors as they relate to students and their success.
Participation will involve completing a survey (with no names or identification numbers) that will be confidentially administered by school administration. Please contact Mrs. Kuhlmann at (618) 994-2392 if you have additional questions.

Due to the multiple snow days to start the 3rd Quarter, we will make the following calendar changes for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year:
February 11- 3rd Quarter Mid-Term, March 11- End of the 3rd Quarter, March 14- Beginning of the 4th Quarter, April 14- 4th Quarter Mid-Term, and May 27- End of the 4th Quarter (Last Day of School; 12:00 Early Dismissal Day). Jr High Volleyball for tonight has been changed to an away game at Crab Orchard. Bus will leave at 4:30. Players need to be here at 4:20.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort schools will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning at 7:45 am.-

Due to poor road conditions caused by the snow, ice, and sleet we received last week, Carrier Mills-Stonefort schools will not be in session on Monday, February 7. This will be a snow day. Hopefully, if road conditions can improve, school will resume on Tuesday, February 8.


Attention Parents/Guardians: Due to the inclement weather expected later this afternoon, the students will get out 15 minutes early. This means bus riders will be dismissed at 2:30 pm and the rest of the students will be dismissed at 2:45 pm. If your student is a bus rider, please expect them 15 minutes earlier than usual. If your student is picked up at the end of the day, please make plans to be at the school 15 minutes earlier today. Stay Safe, Stay Warm, and Stay Healthy!

Attention High School Parents and Students: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Homecoming Coronation and Dance that was scheduled for this Saturday, January 22 has been canceled. The Coronation and Dance will now take place on Friday, February 4 from 7:00-10:00. The Homecoming Game scheduled for this Friday, January 21 will still be played.
